- We will discuss the ideal business structure with you based on your business and personal circumstances. We will advise you of the business and tax issues should you commence as a sole trader, partnership, limited liability partnership or limited company, to enable you to make the right choice.
- We will assist in speaking to the bank and preparing any paperwork that they require to support funding applications such as business plans, budgets and cashflow forecasts.
- We will deal with registering your business for income tax, corporation tax, PAYE and VAT and discuss the implications of each of these with you.
- We can advise you of the best systems to implement for your specific circumstances, whether they are a hand-written cash book, a simple spreadsheet or sophisticated software packages such as SAGE, QuickBooks online and Xero. We will assist you with the setting up of these systems and advise you of the expenditure you should be claiming and the invoices you should be raising.
- If you decide to trade through a company we can deal with the company formation, usually online within 24 hours and also the subsequent filing requirements. We can also discuss with you the optimum share structure.
- We will discuss other aspects of the business to ensure that you have the correct insurances in place and that you have thought of the need for legal agreements such as wills, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements.
